I remember pounding nails into a scrap piece of lumber that my parents gave me when I was a little boy. Woodworking has caught my interest several times since then, and now it won't let me go!
Working in my shop is a great way for me to unwind. I have liked working with the scroll saw for a long time. Adding tools as budget permits, I now have a lathe that I enjoy as well.
I like to use exotic lumber, but that can get pricey. The remedy? Making small items. My signature photo, a box was made with walnut for the top and bottom.
